Air Armenia is a private airline, which operates its services from its main hub- Yerevan Zvartnots Airport. Air Armenia operated only cargo flights for the year 2003-2004, first year of its establishment. From 2004 onwards, Air Armenia was contracted to operate passenger flights. In 2013, Air Armenia launched regular passenger services to Russia, and the airline is in verge of expansion to other destinations in the CIS, Europe and Middle East.

Air Armenia Airport Check In
Passengers can also check in at the airport. Air Armenia allows the passengers to check in one hour before the scheduled departure time and the boarding gate closes at least 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure.
Passengers with check in baggage should check in airport three hours before the scheduled flight departure.

Passengers in economy class are allowed to carry 32kg/8kg and the travelers in business class are entitled to carry 50 kg /8 kg of check-in baggage on board.

Air Armenia allows the economy class passengers to carry 20 kg/5 kg of check-in baggage on board.
Passengers in economy class are allowed to carry two bags of check in baggage and it should not exceed 23 kg/8 kg.
To/from Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and Sochi
Travelers in economy class are entitled to carry 25 kg/8 kg of check in baggage on board.
Passengers in economy class are permitted to 20 kg/5kg of check in baggage on board.
Travelers in economy class are allowed to carry two bags of check-in baggage and it should not exceed 23 kg/8 kg. The business class passengers are also allowed to carry two bags of check in baggage and it should not exceed 32 kg/8 kg.
An adult passenger traveling with an infant is entitled to carry one piece of an extra baggage of up to 10kg and it should not exceed the total dimensions (length + width + height) of up to 115cm.
Each piece of baggage should not exceed 32kg. Baggage weighting more than 32kg will not be accepted for transportation.
Passengers are allowed to carry one piece of hand baggage on-board. The dimensions should not exceed 55 x 40 x 20cm and does not weigh more than 8kg. Hand luggage should be stowed in the overhead bins or under the seats.
An adult passenger traveling with an infant is entitled to carry one additional handbag for infant food and other in-flight necessities weighting no more than 5 kg, plus one fully collapsible umbrella stroller or safety seat.
Air Armenia Food & Drinks
Air Armenia offers snacks, meals and beverages for sale on-board. Since most of the flight duration is less than 2 hours, meals are not served on any Air Armenia flights.
