    The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) is leaving no stone unturned to make its presence felt in the Turkish Market. Recently, STB took part in the 21st East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT), which was held from January 26-29.

    According to November 2016 data from STR, Hotels in London got positive results in the three key performance metrics. The data is expected to see a spike in December owing to the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.

    Compared with November 2015, London recorded its strongest month of 2016 in terms of growth with an 8.0% increase in RevPAR to GBP130.33. This was due to a 5.3% lift in occupancy to 85.9% and a 2.6% increase in ADR to GBP151.65.

    STR analysts note that the results are in comparison with November 2015, when London's hotel market experienced an aftershock following the terror attacks in Paris, France.


    London Hotels Had a Good Time with Full Occupancy in November 2016

    Based on STR’s preliminary November 2016 data for London and England, hotels in London witnessed a huge demand in the growth and occupancy. Based on daily data from November, London hotels reported the following in year-over-year comparisons: increases in supply (+3.0%) and demand (+8.5%);

    1. A 5.4% increase in occupancy to 86.1%;
    2. A 2.6% increase in average daily rate (ADR) to GBP153.07
    3. An 8.2% increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR) to GBP131.78.

    The absolute RevPAR level would be the highest for a November in London since 1994. The occupancy growth figure would be the largest since July 2013. The results are in comparison with November 2015, when London’s hotel market experienced an aftershock following the terror attacks in Paris, France.


    New underground hotel Plan Approved in London
