The Avenues, one of the biggest retail centers in the world, is an example of how modernity and Arabian tradition can coexist. This district is an interpretation of the historic retail architecture of this region, built to resemble a traditional Kuwaiti Souk (market). It has a lot of twisting, tiny streets, making it easy to get lost.
It has more than 200 shops, eateries, and cafes, as well as some lovely perfume boutiques and 11 screens at the enormous Cinescape with the lovely VIP Cinema section. This modern masterpiece was constructed with an eco-friendly concept, with the sunlight falling on its floors to reflect the natural forms and components of the desert.
Things to do at The Avenue:
'The Jewellery' is one of the neighborhoods in the area, and the style and color of its storefronts represent the expensive items being sold inside.
In the home furnishing zone, you'll find worldwide retailers like Ikea, Pottery Barn, The White Company, and Zara Home, some of which are making their Kuwaiti debuts.
SoKu offers an iconic urban shopping experience to appeal to Kuwait's youth, and the neighborhood is well-positioned to host top brands. A 'street smart' look and a cultural setting that encompasses everything in modern shopping are provided by Soku's edgy urban architecture.
Going out to eat with your friends seems to be the major form of entertainment in Kuwait, and with good reason:
